Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly experienced SAP TM Functional Consultant with deep expertise in S/4HANA Embedded Transportation Management (TM). The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the TM functional workstream and drive sustainable, SAP-standard solutions for a global client.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and lead the SAP TM functional workstream end-to-end, including:Freight Unit BuildingPlanning Optimization (VSR)Carrier Selection & Transportation LanesPlanning CockpitConfigure and support S/4 Embedded TM, including:VSR optimizer profilesPlanning profilesCondition-based tenderingCharge types & calculation sheetsFreight settlement & FI integration (Service Entry Sheets)Manage enhancements, defects, and RCA (Root Cause Analysis)Ensure solutions follow SAP standard best practices (avoid unnecessary customizations)Handle freight cost distribution & settlement, including:Charge mappingSettlement profilesIntegration with SD billing & STO purchase ordersSupport EWM-TM Integration, including:Freight unit creation from outbound deliveriesAdvanced Shipping & Receiving (ASR)Transport unit synchronizationAct as a functional bridge between business & technical teamsIdentify process gaps and improvement opportunitiesDrive long-term, scalable solutions and reduce dependency on external vendorsRequired Skills & QualificationsSAP Functional experienceStrong hands-on experience in:S/4HANA Embedded TM (must-have)Freight Settlement & Cost DistributionSD Route DeterminationEWM–TM Integration (Sidecar & Embedded)Experience in:SAP TM configuration & optimizationBusiness process design & stakeholder managementIntegration with SD, MM, FIStrong problem-solving, communication, and consulting skills
