This is an exceptional opportunity for proven leaders with a passion to make a difference and collaborating closely with the Vedanta Leadership Team: Head Smelter Project – for the world’s largest & most advanced Aluminium Smelter Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end project development of Aluminium Smelter, from concept to commissioning. - Drive technology selection, engineering design, vendor evaluation & finalization and deployment of advanced smelting technologies. - Oversee construction, installation and commissioning of potlines, carbon plant, cast-house, utilities and ancillary systems. - Ensure seamless integration of power infrastructure, raw material logistics, operational readiness and downstream operations. - Champion digital transformation through automation, robotics, and AI-driven manufacturing intelligence. - Drive project cost optimization, capex planning, risk mitigation, safety standards and sustainability performance. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the project within defined cost, time and quality parameters. What We Are Looking For: - A passionate engineering professional with 15-20 years of experience preferably in Smelter projects, EPC management or large industrial project execution on totally outsourced model. - Experience in leading large cross-functional teams, global project suppliers, contractors and engineering partners. - Ability to thrive in high-growth, fast-paced environments with a strong sense of ownership and execution excellence. - Energetic, analytical, innovative and committed to delivering world-class project outcomes.
