At Chetna Engineering, we aim to deliver excellent quality and strengthen relationships within the electrical industry.Role DescriptionPrepare the Daily Dispatch Plan every morning based on FG stock available and material received from production; priorities based on customer urgency, overdue POs, and key account commitmentsMonitor pending POs proactively: run daily cross-match of open POs against FG inventory to ensure no order sits unmatched; conduct weekly pending PO auditsOwn PO closure: ensure that once material is available, the PO is packed, invoiced, and dispatched within 24 hours.Maintain FG inventory accuracy.Ensure 100% documentation accuracy for every dispatch: tax invoice, delivery challan, packing list, test certificate, e-way billCoordinate with transporters and courier partners: negotiate rates, book vehicles, track deliveries, collect PODs (Proof of Delivery)Share dispatch status proactively with Sales team and customers; handle dispatch-related queries and complaintsMaintain end-of-day dispatch report: planned vs actual, carry-forward items, packing rejections, PO closure statusCoordinate closely with Production (for material availability), Purchase (for packing materials), Quality (for FG clearance), and Sales (for customer priorities)Drive continuous improvement: reduce dispatch cycle time, optimise freight costs, improve packing efficiency, eliminate FG-PO matching gapsQualifications5–10 years of hands-on experience in finished goods management, dispatch, warehousing, or logistics in a manufacturing setupExperience in a metal products, electrical components, auto ancillary, or similar manufacturing environment is strongly preferred Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Tally, ERPNext, or similar) for inventory management, GRN, invoicing, and order trackingProficiency in MS Excel for data tracking, reporting, and analysis (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas)Understanding of GST invoicing, e-way bill generation, and basic export documentationExperience managing a team of 10–20 people including store staff, helpers, and packing workersFamiliarity with inventory management concepts: Min-Max levels, stock reconciliation.Marathi and Hindi language fluency (for team management); English for documentation and reporting
