The Theatre IN charge will be responsible for managing all theatre-related activities, productions, and facilities within the institution. This role involves mentoring students, coordinating performances, and ensuring smooth functioning of theatre events, rehearsals, and technical operations. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, organize, and oversee theatre productions, stage performances, and dramatic events - Mentor and train students in acting, stagecraft, and performance techniques - Coordinate auditions, rehearsals, and casting processes - Manage theatre schedules including rehearsals, bookings, and performances - Supervise stage setup including lighting, sound, props, costumes, and backstage operations - Collaborate with event and cultural teams for festivals and competitions - Coordinate with directors, artists, and external theatre groups when required - Ensure proper maintenance and usage of theatre equipment and facilities - Handle budgets, procurement of props, costumes, and technical requirements - Ensure safety protocols and discipline during rehearsals and performances - Promote theatre activities through internal and external platforms - Organize workshops, guest sessions, and training programs in theatre arts Required Qualifications & skills: - Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Theatre Arts, Performing Arts, or related field - 3 years of experience in theatre production, direction, or stage management - Experience in academic or cultural institutions preferred - Strong knowledge of theatre production and stage management - Creativity and passion for performing arts - Good organizational and coordination skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Technical understanding of lighting, sound, and stage design Call at 8146651512
