The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in conducting cloud architectural reviews for AWS and Azure, with a focus in security. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud security principles and IT best practices, as well as hands-on experience with cloud security tools. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive cloud architectural reviews for AWS and Azure environments, ensuring robust security measures are in place. Develop and implement security strategies and solutions to protect cloud infrastructure and data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy secure cloud architectures. Continuously monitor and assess cloud environments for security vulnerabilities and compliance with industry standards. Provide guidance and recommendations for improving cloud security posture. Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, technologies, and best practices. Achieve top-notch Industry certifications for professional development Build strong business relationships and provide technical and operational leadership. Qualifications: Languages : Bilingual in English and Spanish Experience : Minimum of 5 years of applied experience. Certifications in any of the following : Cybersecurity: ISC2 CC, CISSP Cloud technologies (in any of the following): Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Technology security providers (in any of the following): CheckPoint, Cisco Systems, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, CyberArk, Zscaler, Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience with scripting/programming languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell. Linux OS, Windows OS Advanced data correlation and analysis of raw logs (e.g., firewall, network flow, IPS, endpoint protection). Flexibility to adapt to various engagement types and work environments. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Understanding of access controls and encryption measures to protect sensitive information. Education : Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university (required). Industry Knowledge : Information Governance and Security Strategy using frameworks like ISO, NIST, SOC-2, PCI, HIPPA. Application Security: Security testing and vulnerability assessments, including SAST and DAST, Understanding of Secure Coding Practices such as OWASP. Cloud Security: Securing applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) Experience with security tools like SAST/DAST/Software Composition Analysis (e.g. SonarQube, Burp, Snyk etc.) Strong understanding of DevOps practices/tools including CI/CD Pipelines, IaC/ARM templates Working knowledge with Source Code Management systems like GitHub, Azure DevOps and CI/CD platforms like Jenkins and GitHub Actions Familiarity and experience with Kubernetes and container services in AWS/Azure or GCP; experience with managing Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) platforms like Terraform is a plus Experience in Check Point CloudGuard Dome9 is a plus.
