We are looking for an Automation & Software Engineer with strong experience in SCADA systems and a passion for modern software tools applied to IoT, renewable energy, and distributed energy resources (DER) . This role is ideal for engineers who want to go beyond traditional controls and be part of innovative projects at the intersection of automation, software, and clean energy . What You Will Do Design and deploy SCADA and automation solutions for distributed energy systems and microgrids. Develop integrations and applications using Node-RED and JavaScript to create dashboards, APIs, and IoT connectivity. Work with Docker/Linux environments to build scalable and reliable automation systems. Integrate renewable energy assets (DER, solar, wind, storage) into advanced monitoring and control platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (automation, IT, and energy) to deliver end-to-end solutions. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Electronics, Software, or related fields. 5+ years of experience in SCADA/automation engineering. Hands-on experience with Node-RED and JavaScript (required). Experience deploying and managing applications in Docker/Linux environments . Knowledge of DER integration, microgrids, or renewable energy projects . Strong technical documentation and problem-solving skills. Preferred Profile A hybrid engineer who combines automation controls expertise with software development skills .
