Position Overview : We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, driven Staff Accountant with 2+ years of accounting experience, and preferably restaurant industry familiarity. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and fluent in English to communicate both written and occasionally verbally with US-based clients , vendors and colleagues. Key Responsibilities : Reconcile vendor, bank, and credit card statements Process weekly check runs and manage vendor payments Calculate, file, and pay monthly and quarterly sales, use, and business taxes Add and code bank and credit card entries into GL software Enter daily sales data Attend client financial meetings Manage all aspects of the accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, month-end and year-end close procedures, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure accurate and timely reporting. Reconcile third-party sales, deposits, and commissions Reconcile payroll clearing accounts and add payroll journal entries to GL software Required Qualifications : Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience (restaurant accounting experience highly preferred, internships accepted) Fluent in English (both written and verbal) Strongly Preferred Skills : Restaurant experience Proactive Highly efficient Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and time-management Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Experience with US accounting and account payables software (Quickbooks, Intacct, MarginEdge and Bill) Benefits : Benefits package (SGMM, Vales de despensa, Vales de restaurante) Bonus opportunities Professional development and growth opportunities Friendly workplace Pet friendly office Work from home twice a week
