The candidate for this position will be responsible for determine operations to produce products and develops processes to ensure quality, cost and efficiency requirements are met. Troubleshoot problems with production and takes corrective action. Researches the purchase of equipment or upgrades to existing equipment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide manufacturing support to the engineering team in the design and development of new processes and products. With a focus on manufacturability and process integration, offer a manufacturing perspective to the product development team. Work closely with production to coordinate manufacturing builds. Provide process documentation to transfer technical products into production and out of engineering. Work with sales and production to evaluate, analyze, and determine process improvements that impact the “bottom line” and which the best return on investment. Partner with quality to improve and streamline process validation runs, assist with corrective action plans and assist with developing new SOP and WI’s. Compose, execute and approve process validation protocols and reports. Use tools and knowledge to work closely with technical experts to improve current process capabilities. Lead projects focused on improving process capabilities of the technically challenging product styles. Determine bottlenecks and provide solutions to remove current constraints. Lead technical support for root cause analysis on internal and external complaints / issues.
