Job TitleImport / Export CoordinatorLocationGuadalajara (GDL), MexicoThis position supports U.S.-based import and export operations.Job SummaryWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Import / Export Coordinator based in Guadalajara, Mexico, to support our U.S. import and export operations. This role works closely with U.S.-based customers, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams. Fluent English communication is required. Prior experience with U.S. shipments is strongly preferred.Key Responsibilities- Coordinate import and export shipments, primarily supporting U.S.-based operations - Communicate daily with U.S. customers, warehouses, truckers, and partners in English - Prepare, review, and manage shipping documents (B/L, commercial invoices, packing lists, arrival notices, etc.) - Track shipment status and proactively follow up on delays or exceptions - Coordinate with customs brokers and support customs clearance processes - Maintain accurate shipment records, reports, and system updates - Provide remote operational support to U.S. operations teams - Follow internal SOPs and compliance requirementsRequired Qualifications- 1–3 years of experience in import/export, logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations - Fluent English (spoken and written) – required - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities - Comfortable working with international teams and U.S. time zones - Proficient in Excel and standard office toolsPreferred Qualifications- Experience handling U.S. import/export shipments - Familiarity with U.S. logistics processes and terminology - Experience working with U.S. customers, 3PLs, or warehouses - Basic understanding of customs clearance processesWork Environment- Based in GDL office, supporting U.S. operations remotely - Fast-paced logistics environment with cross-border coordinationLanguage Requirement- English: Fluent (mandatory) - Spanish: Native or fluent
