You will serve as the leadership team’s right hand, managing the legal pillars of our Mexican operations with autonomy and high ethical standards.If you are driven by risk anticipation, agile decision-making, and have a proven track record navigating the Mexican labor and corporate landscape, this challenge is for you.Your MissionYou will be ultimately responsible for the legal health of our operations in Mexico. Your responsibilities include:- Labor Strategy: Leading counsel on contracts, terminations, internal policies, and union relations, working side-by-side with the People team. - Compliance & Defense: Ensuring regulatory compliance before authorities and spearheading the legal response to labor or corporate litigation and claims. - Corporate Governance: Maintaining the legal standing of the local entity (minutes, powers of attorney, bylaws) and coordinating notary procedures. - Business Partnering: Reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements with key vendors and supervising external counsel when specialized complexity is required.Your Background- Experience: 3 to 5 years of solid practice in labor and corporate law in Mexico (experience in startups or top-tier consulting firms is a plus). - Credentials: Law degree (JD equivalent) with a valid professional license (cédula profesional). - Direct Representation: Proven experience acting as the lead legal representative in labor hearings and proceedings before Mexican labor authorities (Tribunales Laborales / Juntas de Conciliación y Arbitraje). - Litigation Skills: Demonstrated ability in judicial and extrajudicial corporate representation. - Languages: Fluent English, as you will report to and collaborate with international teams daily. - Tech-Savvy: Expert proficiency in Google Workspace and digital management tools. - Experience in startups or top-tier consulting firms is a plusWhy Join Us?We are a high-growth company where your impact will be visible from day one.
