Job Description

We expect you to be Software engineer with experience building Acceptance and Integration Test Suites in the Enterprise. It helps to have advanced experience working with testing frameworks like cucumber/gherkin, as well as Artillery for load testing. WORK AS A CONTRACTOR - PST TIME ZONE A day in the life… • Contributes to multidimensional projects that involve multiple teams. • Works with other software engineers on design best practices and conducts code reviews. • Resolves complex engineering problems, collaborating with others. • Facilitates cross functional troubleshooting, root cause analysis and engages others when needed. • Responsible for creating, evaluating, and contributing to feature detailed designs. • Design, develop, and implement software utilizing an agile project cycle. • Mentor others on the team and raise the bar for technical knowledge across a wide spectrum. • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of information technology concepts issues, trends and best practices as they relate to Cloud technologies and system integrations. • Apply and share knowledge of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals. Requirement Needing Someone who would has built an orchestrator in Java or .net, they would have used temporal IO on a project in recent work history. They would have experience with Kafka and Kubernetes, They would possess Devops skillsets where they could build the first pipelines. Has advanced exp working with testing frameworks like cucumber, gherkin, as well as artillery testing. Software engineer that USED to be a Test engineer would potentially be a good fit for the needs of this role. Familiarity with Kubernetes. Familiarity with relational databases - Postgres Experience with RESTful architecture and micro-services. Experience with Kafka Experience with cloud-based services (AWS) Experience with Terraform Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery methodologies and tooling.
