Overview What Global Trade contributes to Cardinal HealthGlobal Trade is responsible for the design, implementation and execution of policies, programs and platforms to enable compliant and efficient international movement of products and technologies.Global Trade Sourcing is responsible for defining the domestic and/or international logistics strategy by establishing strategic relations with service providers. This job family owns US and global logistics T&C’s, contracts, negotiations, supplier performance metrics and supplier vetting and evaluation.QualificationsHigh school diploma/GED1 years experience preferredExcellent communication skillsWhat is expected of you and others at this levelComprehensive knowledge in traffic coordination (Importation/exportation/drivers)Ability to balance queue at sterilizers and take effective decisionsKnowledge in Intermodal logistics process (sea containers)Experience in customs software (Vastera/ ACE manifest)Microsoft Office good skills office 365Preferred experience in Shipping and Receiving areaTakes the lead in effectively applying and teaching new processes and skills in order to accomplish a wide variety of assignmentsComprehensive knowledge in specialty area related to Traffic & LogisticsExperience in AS400 modules (CIMA/PRMS)Ability to apply knowledge beyond own areas of expertisePreempts potential problems and provides effective solutions for teamWorks independently to interpret and apply company procedures to complete workProvides guidance to less experienced team membersTeam leader responsibilities: leads 15 drivers and should be capable to cover shipping / receiving areasResponsible for keep safe the supply chain of the Juarez - El Paso operationsOver Time availabilityAvailability for flexible journey including weekends (switch shifts)Candidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply.Cardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
