This role ensures material availability, production plan attainment, inventory integrity, service levels, and cost optimization while reinforcing a safe, compliant, and continuous-improvement culture.Core Accountabilities- Oversee the execution of the site’s integrated operational plan, translating demand outlooks into structured supply and activity plans while balancing capacity and operational constraints. - Ensure accuracy and reliability of system parameters that support planning, materials management, and inventory governance, implementing structured exception monitoring to enable timely decision-making. - Guide sourcing strategy and operational purchasing activities to align with execution plans and strengthen partner performance. - Drive efficiency and cost-optimization initiatives across the end-to-end materials flow, including commercial alignment, contract governance, and productivity enhancement projects. - Maintain overall inventory integrity and transparency, leading periodic physical verifications, strengthening accuracy indicators, and proactively managing slow-moving and obsolete exposure. - Supervise storage and distribution activities across internal and third-party facilities, including receipt, allocation, order preparation, and dispatch coordination. - Coordinate transportation and distribution activities, ensuring alignment with applicable operational and regulatory requirements. - Define, monitor, and act upon key performance indicators, implementing structured recovery actions when needed. - Lead and develop a cross-functional team, enhancing capability through training, knowledge sharing, and role flexibility. - Promote and reinforce compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - Demonstrated experience leading supply chain in a manufacturing environment across planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics. - Proven ability to drive cost savings, KPI improvements, and cross-functional execution under tight timelines/constraints. - Used to a “Make to Order” environment. - Knowledge of transportation / logistics processes - Bilingual Spanish / English (written and spoken).
