About the Role Brand & UI DesignerLocation: Remote (NYC Hours) | Reports to: Senior Product Designer As Brand & UI Designer, you will be responsible for defining and elevating the visual direction of a new digital product experience at Begin. You will create a cohesive brand foundation and scalable UI system that brings clarity, consistency, and polish across mobile and web platforms. This role will play a key part in shaping the visual identity of a new product initiative and ensuring it translates seamlessly into high‑quality user experiences. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to deliver a modern, scalable, and accessible design system. What You Will Drive Brand Foundation & Guidelines Lead the creation of a comprehensive brand guideline for a new digital product experience targeted to parents, establishing visual standards, typography, color systems, and usage principles. Scalable Visual Systems Develop scalable visual systems, reusable UI components, and design assets that enable consistency across mobile and web platforms. Consumer Product UI Design Deliver polished, high‑quality UI designs for consumer‑facing mobile and web products, ensuring strong visual hierarchy and usability. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure designs are feasible, aligned with product goals, and implemented accurately. Design Quality & Accessibility Ensure all design work aligns with user needs, brand objectives, and accessibility best practices. Prepare clean design files and documentation for seamless engineering handoff.
