A company in the chemical industry is looking for aDemand Plannerto ensure healthy inventory levels and reliable product availability through demand analysis, consumption variability assessment, and operational capacity planning—working closely withSales, Procurement, Production, Logistics, and Operations .Role Purpose Ensure effectivedistribution and inventory planningby maintaining optimal stock levels (raw materials and finished goods), balancing service level targets with demand variability, lead times, and logistical capacity.Key Responsibilities Define and maintain appropriatesafety stock levels , preventing overstock, stockouts, obsolescence, and operational rework (re-labeling / re-packaging) Collect inputs from multiple Sales areas and build themonthly demand forecast (FCST) Settarget stock levels by product and location , based on consumption patterns and logistics capacity Update and maintain daily inventory/planning data in sharedExcel databasesand the ERP master plan Use statistical metrics (e.g.,standard deviation ) to measure uncertainty and consumption variability Propose and implementautomation initiatives(reorder point alerts, calculation tools, dashboards) to keep inventory optimal Track and analyze key indicators (coverage, turnover, service level) to support supply decisions across customers Assess warehouse and transportation capacity aligned to theBusiness Planand FCST Reduce overcosts and avoid urgent/overpriced purchases that impact profitability Monitor inventory performance in ERP/WMS and propose corrective actionsRequirements Advanced business English Proven experience indistribution planning, inventory planning, or supply chain Advanced Excel (must-have):pivot tables, conditional formulas, key functions Experience withERP and/or WMS(SAP preferred) Nice to have:Macros and/or Power BI Strong analytical profile, organized, results-driven, proactive leadership, and strong cross-functional communicationEducation Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering ,Logistics, Business/Administrative fields, Econometrics/Finance-related, or other quantitative disciplines, ideally complemented with strong data analysis and planning tools knowledge.What We Offer Employment type:100% payroll Benefits: grocery vouchers, restaurant vouchers, private medical insurance, life insurance,45 days Christmas bonus , savings fund, pension plan Schedule: Monday to Friday,8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Contract terms: 3-month probation period with statutory benefits; permanent contract based on performance and objectives.Interested?Apply via LinkedIn or send your CV toSTPS-ACT-OEH09-00351
