Position goal: The Finished Vehicle Transport Quality Sr. Analyst is responsible for ensuring the integrity, quality, and proper handling of finished vehicles throughout the entire transportation process—from arrival at the port through delivery to the Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) and dealer facilities. This role oversees and analyzes transport quality operations, identifies and drives improvements to prevent damages, and manages all transportation-related damage cases through accurate documentation, timely resolution, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders. By integrating operational quality oversight with the full management of transport damage claims, the Sr. Analyst ensures a seamless end-to-end quality and accountability process. This contributes to improved logistics performance, reduced damage frequency, and enhanced customer satisfaction Responsibilities: Transport Quality Oversight: Monitor and analyze finished vehicle handling across the full logistics chain—from inbound port operations to VPC and dealer deliveries. Ensure compliance with OEM standards, conduct inspections, and verify that transport partners adhere to quality and safety procedures. Damage Prevention & Continuous Improvement: Identify damage trends, investigate root causes, and develop corrective and preventive action plans. Collaborate with logistics providers, port operators, and VPC teams to improve handling processes and reduce overall transport-related damages. Damage Claims Management: Manage the complete lifecycle of transportation damage cases, ensuring timely reporting, thorough documentation, and proper validation. Coordinate with carriers, insurers, and internal departments to ensure efficient claim resolution and cost recovery. Stakeholder Communication & Process Coordination: Maintain effective communication channels with internal teams, logistics providers, port/VPC operators, and dealer networks. Ensure smooth information flow related to vehicle condition, damage cases, and operational performance. Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a similar related field. Experience: 1–3 years in logistics, quality, transportation, or finished vehicle operations English: Intermediate Areas of Knowledge: Load/Unload Vehicle Processes: Understanding of proper vehicle handling techniques during loading and unloading operations, including safety standards, damage prevention practices, and OEM-approved procedures. Finished Vehicle Logistics: Knowledge of end-to-end logistics flows for finished vehicles, covering port operations, yard management, VPC processes, carrier transportation, and dealer delivery networks. Insurance Claims (Desirable): Familiarity with transportation damage claim processes, documentation requirements, insurer and carrier interactions, and claim resolution workflows.
