The EHS Engineer is responsible for supporting, implementing, and improving environmental, health, and safety programs across the organization. This role ensures compliance with applicable Mexican regulations, promotes a safe work environment, and drives continuous improvement initiatives within the company’s operations. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs aligned with corporate standards and Mexican legal requirements. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and assessments to ensure regulatory compliance and identify opportunities for improvement. Manage incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective/preventive action plans. Support environmental monitoring, chemical handling programs, and hazardous waste management. Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety protocols to reduce workplace hazards. Provide EHS training for employees at all levels, promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to EHS activities, regulatory filings, and internal performance metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe manufacturing processes, equipment compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor and manage chemical testing and analysis as needed to support compliance and operational needs. Support emergency response planning, drills, and response activities. Required Experience 4+ years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety program management within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong working knowledge of Mexican health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations (NOMs, SEMARNAT, STPS requirements, etc.). Working knowledge of chemical testing and analyzing equipment , with a solid technical background. Understanding of manufacturing technologies, processes, and industrial safety practices . Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and related applications. English Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Effective communication skills for training, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
