Join Our Team at Daikin We are looking for a Technical Training Lead – HVAC Applied Systems (LATAM ) to join our team based in Mexico City (Polanco). About the Role This role goes beyond delivering training. You will act as a technical reference across LATAM , responsible for elevating applied HVAC capabilities by designing and leading high-impact training programs. You will work closely with global teams to adapt best practices into the region and build scalable technical capability across service and engineering teams. What You’ll Do • Lead the technical upskilling of HVAC applied systems across LATAM, becoming a key reference for the region • Design and deliver high-impact training programs (from fundamentals to advanced) for service and engineering teams • Create engaging technical content: courses, videos, playbooks, and hands-on learning experiences • Translate complex field knowledge into practical, scalable training solutions • Adapt global best practices into the LATAM reality, ensuring relevance and adoption • Drive certification and capability-building initiatives across multiple countries • Build and scale Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programs to multiply technical expertise in the region • Act as a subject matter expert in chillers, hydronic systems, and applied HVAC solutions • Ensure consistency and quality in technical knowledge across teams What We’re Looking For • Strong hands-on experience in applied HVAC systems (chillers, hydronic systems, controls) • +5 years of experience in roles such as Applied Engineer, Sr Technician, or Technical Instructor • Background in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or related fields • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into structured learning experiences • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across multicultural environments • Analytical mindset and problem-solving orientation • Advanced English and Spanish Why Join Daikin Daikin is a global leader in the air conditioning industry, recognized for its commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability.
