About the Role  We are looking for an experienced QA Manager to oversee Live and Release quality for a live game project.  In this role, you will work closely with development, LiveOps, customer support, and QA teams to monitor the live player experience, identify quality risks, and drive improvements to live service quality.  You will lead a team of QA engineers and collaborate with QA teams, helping shape the Live and Release QA strategy while ensuring stable releases and high-quality player experience.  What You Will Do  Live Quality Management  Continuously monitor live service performance and improve the overall player experience.  Detect, analyze, and prioritize issues affecting the live game environment.  Manage the live bug database, ensuring accurate status tracking and proper prioritization.  Drive resolution of high-impact issues through triage processes and stakeholder coordination.  Investigate issues discovered through negative KPI trends or Customer Support escalations.  QA Leadership  Manage and mentor QA engineers, supporting their growth through 1:1s, KPIs, and IDPs.  Participate in onboarding and integration of new QA engineers.  Release & Test Strategy  Establish and evolve the Live and Release testing strategy.  Own and continuously improve the Critical Path Smoke test suite used for release validation.  Participate in Release Train governance, ensuring quality checkpoints throughout the development lifecycle.  Provide a holistic view of live service quality through structured reporting and tracking (e.g. RAG reports).  Cross-Team Collaboration  Work closely with the LiveOps QA team to align processes and testing workflows.  Collaborate with Customer Support to better understand and address player issues.  Coordinate with other QA Managers regarding upcoming features and their readiness for release.  Release Operations  Support quality processes around server launches and server merges.  Work with the Deployment Manager to manage platform submissions and distribution channels including Apple, Google, TestFlight, and beta environments.  Participate in Live and Release team ceremonies and development planning activities.  Quality Improvement  Encourage shift-left quality practices to identify and address issues earlier in development.  Proactively highlight quality risks within the release roadmap.  Contribute to QA department strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.  What You Bring   Proven experience in QA leadership within the gaming industry.  Strong experience managing LiveOps quality and release processes.  Strong leadership and team management skills.  Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.  Strong time management and organizational abilities.  Ability to balance technical quality needs with business priorities.  Experience working in Agile development environments.  Strong reporting and analytical capabilities.  Extensive experience with JIRA or similar bug tracking systems. English level: B2 or higher  Nice to Have  Understanding of the game development lifecycle end-to-end.  Experience working with live service games and LiveOps environments.  What We Offer  Office-based role  International projects and global clients
