Be part of our 1st Launch NA/ México- multicultural Business Unit: Safety SystemsYanfeng Safety Systems México / YFSSYFSS Is one of the leaders in the system integration and performance of the automotive restraint safety components including airbags modules, seatbelts, steering wheels worldwide with its R&D center well equipped with complete test, design, and engineering capabilities.YFFS is fully committed to the excellence of development and delivery of system integration with its manufacturing facilities in Europe, China and now in México.Position: Launch EngineerEnsure the plants are properly prepared to accept the new product launches and facilitate the transition from the Launch SDT to the plant team. This may also include mid cycle enhancements, or another major project as identified by the Regional Launch Manager or NA Launch Director. Participant in weekly SDT meetings from product feasibility through SOP and participating in all MSO events.JOB SUMMARY- BD- Engineering or any major related - English conversational skills proficient- MUST - Site- Querétaro. Parque O Donnel Aeropuerto el Marqués - Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and automotive quality standards. - Project management and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Strong communication and teamwork skills.Preferred Skills:- Experience with launch of complex components or systems (e.g., powertrain, interiors, electronics). - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. - Experience working directly with OEM customers.CHALLENGES· Timing availability, passion, drive, innovative and resilience to work with a multicultural know- how.· This position reports to a Operations Manager· Automotive industry expertise it ́ is a must for this position.· It's difficult to access the Plant- for this reason it ́s important that the candidate must have her/ his own transportation or another alternative to get to this site.· Nowadays the company is unable to give support relocation- for foreign candidatesExperience minimum 1- 2 years in automotive industry (must) as Launch Engineer in AUTOMOTIVE Tier 1- Lead and coordinate new product launches from pre-production through full-scale manufacturing. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain. - Develop and track launch timelines, milestones, and deliverables. - Ensure production readiness, including tooling, equipment, and process validation. - Monitor and resolve issues during pilot builds and early production phases. - Support APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities and ensure compliance with customer requirements. - Coordinate with customers (OEMs) regarding launch status, risks, and issue resolution. - Implement continuous improvement actions to stabilize production after launch. - Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and cost targets.Share your CV in english at :vanessa.acevedo@
