KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER-RENEWABLES Job Purpose: the overall responsibility and accountability of the Key Account Manager for RENEWABLES IS to identify wire and cables used in the renewable energy industry (Solar, Wind, Hydro, etc) as well as the customers that purchase them in order to lead their development and growth within Coficab supporting our company’s vision, mission, values and strategies. The Key Account Manager, being a reliable partner to the Sales department development, has an eager and effective role in reaching company sustainable growth managing assigned customer relationship, building specific customer loyalty programs, offering best-in-class products, mitigating risks, fostering innovation, technology and best practices, building competitiveness, unity and ownership, promoting ethics and commitment within our teams and communities and enforcing compliance internally and externally at all levels. Additionally, the Key Account Manager should demonstrate an exceptional mastery of the Sales policies and procedures and strive to ensure they are effectively implemented in compliance with contracts agreements and Customer technical specifications. Job Accountabilities: Strategy and Development: Implements Sales strategies and seeks continues improvement covering the FOLLOWING: - Strong customer relationship management - Growing markets and product lines - Sustainable business profitability - Mitigated risk management - Innovative products & Processes improvement techniques - Accurate forecasting & budgeting techniques - Full compliance to regulations, standards, requirements and customer specifications Identify existing wires and cables used in the renewables market and lead their development within Coficab to bring key products to market following existing market standards and best practices Identify new products and technologies in the renewables market that allow Coficab to be on the leading edge of new and innovative product development bring existing customers, contacts, and market knowledge to Coficab to ensure speed to market of existing and new products Sales Operational Activities: Cooperates closely with R&D teams in the development of key account new projects & initiatives and follows up its technical and financial feasibility studies with the involved departments. Prepares key account product's forecasts, monitors its reliability and assures its updates and communication on a monthly basis. Prepares and drives Annual sales Budget following current market condition, last year sales figures and identified sales trend considering key account metrics. Manages key account business growth by setting up marketing strategy that allows growth in current and new markets. Implements the most effective loyalty program for key account to be considered as supplier of choice. Builds a strong appreciation of the competitive market, keeping abreast of key trends, predictions and activities. Improves key account relationships and assists in its retention and drives sales growth thought a combination of good practices, strategies and technologies. Promotes Coficab brand and executes sales strategy in line with the company’s business development objectives and market characteristics and trends. Participates in overseeing the bidding process by collecting relevant information such as raw material costs, product availability on the market and applicable prices, thorough completion and processing of tender documents with involved departments (Finance, Operations, etc.) and follows up its submission. People Management: Provides leadership to Sales department. Coaches, mentors and develops direct reports and manages a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions. develops appropriate organizational structure, resources plans and culture to support the business objectives and customer deliverables. Manages team performance firmly and fairly by providing continuous constrictive feedback, overseeing attendance, holidays, disciplinary issues, and procedures as appropriate. Works with the Sales team to translate strategy into specific annual performance goals and departmental objectives including KPIs. Communication: Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance. Works collaboratively, negotiates, and engages with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the purchasing strategy. Ensures strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate exchange of information and implement change and improvements. Maintains global mindset to interact with COFICAB group peers and ensures smooth communication to share best practices and achievements.
