The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for executing and administering core HR processes within the plant while ensuring compliance with labor legislation, the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), and company policies. The role acts as a liaison between employees, management, and union representatives to maintain stable labor relations and support an efficient and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities Labor Relations • Administer and monitor matters related to the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). • Address and resolve employee concerns, grievances, and workplace conflicts. • Conduct and document workplace investigations. • Coordinate with union delegates on employee-related operational issues. • Participate in meetings with union representatives and follow up on agreements and action plans. Actively participate in improvement strategies for turnover and absenteeism Employee Administration General support to employees regarding savings funds, employee savings. • Manage employee terminations, resignation, agreements and personnel movements. • Maintain and update employee personnel files. • Monitor attendance, absences, leaves, and vacation records. • Support disciplinary actions according to the Internal Work Regulations. • Assist in termination processes, including preparation of final settlements. • Support onboarding process Locker administration Legal and Regulatory Compliance • Ensure compliance with the Federal Labor Law, internal policies, and labor regulations. • Support internal and external labor audits. • Maintain accurate labor documentation and records. Work Environment and Employee Engagement • Support initiatives related to employee engagement and workplace culture. • Assist in the implementation of recognition programs and employee activities. • Promote effective communication between employees and management. Administer transportation service (budget, invoice, complaints resolution and tracking, service audits) Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field. • 2–5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing or maquiladora environment. • Experience working with unionized workforces and collective bargaining agreements. • Knowledge of Mexican Federal Labor Law. • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. • Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
