Sanmina is looking for a skilled and proactive Manufacturing Engineer specialized in metal fabrication to join our Operations team! If you have a strong background in metalworking processes and a passion for implementing new production lines, we want to hear from you. In this position, you will be the cornerstone of our manufacturing efficiency. You will be responsible for defining, implementing, and controlling the manufacturing processes for our fabricated products, ensuring they meet the highest quality and functionality standards. Key Responsibilities: Process Development: Develop, implement, and control fabrication processes for new part numbers. Documentation: Create detailed Work Instructions, FMEAs, and Process Flow Diagrams. Continuous Improvement: Lead 5S initiatives, including visual aids, labeling, and standardization. Technical Support: Review equipment requirements, support internal/external audits, and follow up on action plans or deviations. Operational Excellence: Support plant start-ups, new process introductions, and production transfers. Requirements: Education: Degree in Engineering or a related field. Experience: 5–6 years of experience in the Metal-Mechanic industry . Technical Expertise: At least 4 years of hands-on experience with at least three of the following: Press brakes, Laser cutting, Stamping, Rolling, Turret punching, or TIG/MIG Welding . Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD , Oracle , and Microsoft Office. Competencies: Strong ability to interpret technical drawings. Languages: Advanced English. Location: Guadalupe, NL.
