The Junior Accountant provides support for the Accounting Manager MX & US so the accounting balances and information on BDUS operations are accurate and reliable. She/he ensures that all journal entries are posted correctly and reconciles balances between ledgers. She/he provides support on month end closing activities ensuring that activities are completed on time and correctly. She/he will be responsible for all transactional activities related to BDUS accounting area supporting the offshoring of the accounting area. The Junior Accountant works closely with the Accounting Manager to observe US GAAP principles as well as Head Quarters reporting requirements. Responsibilities: Responsible for monthly and annual end close processes for US site Execute Balance Sheet Accounts Reconciliations including clearing and accruals release Execute FX revaluation, run monthly depreciation and prepare payroll reconciliation in reporting system Provide support on Fixed Assets transfers by consolidating all supporting documentation and ensuring electronic backup is up to date. Generate manual invoices for ICO FA transfers Prepare External Audit requirements, Transfer Pricing and other external requests as well as annual physical inventory process Support process documentation and accounts maintenance for BDUS to provide accurate financial information Responsible for posting Journal Entries for US site: Including but not limited to Payroll, Accruals, Benefits, etcetera Ensure that each Manual Journal Entry has support documentation and approval Review that each entry is posted using the correct SAP transaction, Movement Type, Cost Center and General Ledger account Profile: At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar position, ideally in a production-oriented environment Bachelor’s degree in public accounting Desired experience working offshored for US companies Understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP and IFRS) Experience working with an ERP system (preferably SAP) Advanced English Microsoft Office Our offer: You will have the opportunity to learn and build experience and further expand your skills in a highly dynamic team.  We offer you a job in an agile and international working environment where entrepreneurship and creativity are valued.  The BD   policy will support you in creating a good work – life balance.  You will receive an attractive salary package according to your experience topped with fringe benefits.
