The RoleAmazon Ads is our highest-complexity paid channel and it doesn't have a dedicated technical owner. That's the gap this role closes. You'll be the internal expert: the person who builds the campaign structures, owns the optimization logic, writes the playbook, and makes every peso and dollar work harder. You won't be supervising someone else's work you'll be doing it yourself, with full technical autonomy. Impact & OwnershipThe technical performance of paid media across all marketplace channels TACOS, ACOS, and revenue attributed to campaigns — your numbers, your accountability Scalable campaign structures and optimization standards the team can replicate The company's PPC playbook — built from scratch, documented, transferable Incremental revenue unlocked through better keyword strategy and campaign execution What you'll doCampaign Management: Manage and optimize SP, SB, SD, and DSP campaigns. Execute keyword harvesting, negative matching, and ranking bursts. Monitor CTR, CPC, CVR, ACOS, and TACOS with a clear action plan every week. Playbook & Standards: Build and maintain the PPC playbook - campaign structures, naming conventions, optimization criteria. Document everything so knowledge stays in the company, not just in your head. Listings & SEO: Audit and optimize marketplace listings for SEO and conversion. Align paid and organic keyword strategies. Retention & Reporting: Develop retargeting, win-back, and repurchase strategies. Deliver weekly performance reports with insights, not just numbers. Requirements 3+ years directly operating Amazon Ads hands-on, not agency supervision. Hands-on with Seller Central and/or Vendor Central. Deep technical knowledge: match types, bid strategies, campaign structures. Strong analytical mindset you read a Search Term Report and know exactly what to do next. Nice to have: MercadoLibre Ads or Walmart Connect. Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or DataDive. Experience building playbooks or training team members.Ready to build something that actually works?
