Join our dedicated team that prioritizes integrity, respects ideals, and embraces new opportunities to serve our communities.Position Summary The Contents Technician directly assists our customers with a variety of services including inventory and disposal of damaged contents, processing, packing, and cleaning of personal contents affected by fire damage, water damage, or mold. The technician must possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively utilize technology to document and submit project files and paperwork, including time and crew sheets.ResponsibilitiesAssist in packing and loading household or office items onto trucksEnsure that all items are properly secured and protected during transportUnload items at the destination and assist in unpacking and setting upClean and deodorize contents affected by a loss.Assesses and catalogs non‑restorable contents while obtaining proper approvals from Adjusters.Ensures contents have been processed correctly by completing visual inspections and signing off.Monitors the safeguard of inventory within the company’s possession.Ensures the Fireline is safe, neat, and organized.Manipulates customers’ contents in accordance with the job scope and customers’ requests.Reports broken or damaged goods to management, completing required documentation.Follows industry best practices, ensuring safeguards are being used during content manipulation.Communicate effectively with team members and customersMaintain a clean and organized work environmentAdhere to safety guidelines and regulationsOther duties as assigned or apparent.Skills / Qualifications RequiredMust be physically able to perform pack out/cleaning tasks and lift heavy objects as required.Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain quality control standards.Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.Strong verbal and written communication skills.PreferredPrevious experience in restoration, or a related field is preferred.Excellent problem‑solving abilities paired with a customer‑focused approach.Strong Problem‑solving/Decision‑making capabilitiesFluent in industry standards and protocolsBilingual in English and Spanish is a plusOrganizational skillsAnalytical thinkingWork Environment This is an in‑field position that requires frequent travel to and from active jobsites. Jobsites may contain asbestos, microbial growth, lead, or other hazardous materials; personal protective equipment or PPE will be provided.Jobsites may or may not have electricity; expect to work in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.Physical Demands This position will typically require the employee to stand or walk for extended periods of time and may involve heavy manual labor.
