The ultimate aim is to drive the best customer experience in a reliable and cost-efficient manner, every time.The ATS MX Transportation Operation Management (TOM) team is looking for an Area Manager with a strong delivery record, proven ability to drive process improvement, people management experience, and ability to motivate reporting team members to meet the challenges of an on-time driven environment.Key job responsibilities - Drive high safety standards for all yard operations, ensuring safe work environment for Amazon and non-Amazon workers. - Audit and ensure compliance to all standard work, nail the plan and environmental regulations - Meet the OTP/OTD target per shift. - Own area performance metrics and communicate them to TOM Manager and site leadership.A day in the life As part of Amazon Transportation Services (ATS), you’ll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Work a rotating, flexible schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends and holidays.
