About the RoleReboot Monkey operates 24 datacenter facilities across 6 continents. Every one of those facilities needs reliable, skilled Data Center Technicians (DCTs) who can execute Smart Hands and Remote Hands work to our standard. The quality of our DCT pool is the single biggest factor determining whether clients stay or leave. As DCT Recruitment Specialist for theAsia-Pacific — covering India, Southeast Asia, East Asia, and Oceania , your job is to build and maintain a world-class DCT pool in your region. You are not a generic recruiter — you need todeeply understand what makes a great datacenter technician . You know the difference between someone who can rack a server properly and someone who will strip a screw on the first try. This role requires someone who has eitherworked as a DCTormanaged DCTs directly . You must know the work inside and out — structured cabling, cross-connects, hardware installs, decommissions, labeling standards, hot/cold aisle management. What You'll DoSource, screen, and recruit Data Center Technicians across facilities in the APAC regionConduct technical screening interviews — assess hands-on DC skills, not just resume keywordsBuild and maintain a vetted DCT pool organized by location, skill level, availability, and reliability scoreVerify technician credentials: certifications, references, and work historyCreate and maintain DCT skill assessments and practical evaluation criteriaCoordinate onboarding of new DCTs: facility access, safety protocols, SOP trainingTrack DCT performance after deployment — build a feedback loop with the operations teamContinuously expand our DCT coverage to new markets and facilities in your regionManage relationships with DCT staffing agencies where we use themMaintain our DCT database with up-to-date availability, skills, and performance ratingsRequirements3+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or team staffing experience (formal or informal — managing a DCT pool counts)Ability to conduct technical interviews and assess hands-on datacenter skillsKnowledge of DC infrastructure: structured cabling, server racking, cross-connects, PDUs, environmental monitoringFluent written and spoken EnglishOrganized and detail-oriented — managing a regional DCT database requires precisionComfortable using spreadsheets, databases, or ATS tools to track candidates
