The Product Engineer is responsible for supporting new orders, reviewing and approving engineering changes, and providing design support to production. This role acts as the technical point of contact for assigned valve products, ensuring accurate documentation, cross‑functional technical support, and continuous product improvements.Education/ExperienceMechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial Design Engineer or related Engineering degree.2 years of experience in design engineering position in industrial production environment.QualificationsKnowledge of pressure vessels design, manufacturing processes, product development, including casting, forging, machining and advanced manufacturing techniques.Interpretation of mechanical parts specifications/drawingsStrong analytical/problem solving skillsIATF 16949SolidWorks and AutoCAD knowledgeEffective communication in EnglishResponsibilities:Establish a strong focus on internal and external customers to ensure the effective on time delivery of several product engineering tasks and solutions. Provide technical support through direct communication with sales, marketing, suppliers and clients.Provide technical support and help resolving internal manufacturing challenges and process improvements.Review and approve all product documentation including drawings, specifications, BOMs and special product requirements.Review and approve Engineering Changes related to product and process improvementDevelop product knowledge training for shop floor associates.Ensure part numbers requirements are up to date on MRP system.
