Job DescriptionBuyer/Planner 5 ExperienceRequirements for IC Jobs (Min of 5 years of related Supply Chain Experience) Supply Chain Manager Supply Chain professional managing all global aspects of the function for dedicated manufacturer(s), market segment or geographic region. Solely responsible for managing functions; planning, analyzing and implementing activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement of production materials. This includes responsibility for inventory turns, strategic solutions, and cost management. Ensures effectiveness of procedures and systems and will implement changes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline procedures. Specific Duties and ResponsibilitiesVery strong manufacturer and internal teams contact, negotiation, and problem resolution skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills. Confidence in presenting and dealing with supervisory levels within Sanmina and with manufacturers. Ability to manage multiple, detailed projects to a successful end while working under tight time deadlines. Must have experience of communicating, motivating, and persuading with a wide variety of internal customers and manufacturers. Must be comfortable with shifting priorities, timelines, and requirements.Knowledge of Supply Chain theory with practical experience. Ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams in a global team environment. Must be fluent in spoken and written English. Education / ExperienceBachelor's degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 5 years experience in Manufacturing, Purchasing, and/or supply chain management Communication– Excellent communication and presentation skills. Frequent communications with all levels of personnel at manufacturers, suppliers, and internally, including International personnel in many different countries and time zones. Very strong manufacturer contact, negotiation, and problem resolution skills. Confidence in presenting and dealing with supervisory levels internally and with manufacturrs. Problem Solving– Strong ability to analyze situations, identify problems, and recommend/implement corrective actions, processes, etc. Job specific skills– Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain management. EMS experience a plus. Strong analytical , Excel and Powerpoint skills. Knowledge of Sanmina’s internal systems is a plus. Leadership– Strong leadership skills required. Able to lead projects and motivate/drive the behaviour of non-direct reports. Innovation– Consistently analyze situations and offer new ways to achieve better results. Organization/Project Management– Must be a “self starter” capable of managing themselves and prioritizing tasks efficiently and effectively. Ability to lead projects ranging from short-term to longer term more complex projects requiring excellent communication and leadership to assure success.
