Role OverviewWe are seeking a Structural & Thermal Engineer with strong expertise in FEA-based simulation and battery system design. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical and thermal modeling, focusing on durability, vibration, and crash performance of battery systems.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform FEA simulations for structural and thermal analysis of battery systemsConduct analysis in areas such as:Crash / CrushMechanical shock & vibrationDurability & structural integrityDevelop and validate thermal management strategies for Li-Ion and battery pack systemsWork with tools like ANSA and ABAQUS for modeling and simulationSupport design validation and prototype testing of battery systemsInterpret simulation results and recommend design improvementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (design, testing, systems)Provide technical guidance on structural and thermal performanceRequired SkillsStrong experience in FEA (Finite Element Analysis)Hands-on experience with:ANSAABAQUSExperience in mechanical + thermal modeling and simulationKnowledge of:Vibration, shock, crash analysisStructural durabilityExperience in automotive or battery systemsPreferred SkillsExperience with Li-Ion battery systems / BMSExposure to OEM / Tier 1 automotive environmentUnderstanding of thermal management in battery packsStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
