Senior Planner Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented Manufacturing Planner to join the production team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring efficient manufacturing operations by effectively managing production schedules, inventory levels, and resource allocation. You will leverage your analytical skills and industry knowledge to optimize the manufacturing process and support our commitment to delivering high-quality products. Responsibilities Develop and maintain production schedules that align with customer demand and inventory targets Supports development and implementations of best & standardized Master Scheduling practices while monitoring execution across all planning resources Responsible for data and process analysis in support of strategy development, measurement and controls implementation that result in successful customer service, Inventory reduction and on time delivery Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials Adjust schedules based on capacity, material constraints, and customer priorities. Analyze data, KPIs, sales forecasts, and historical trends to predict needs, identify constraints, and plan capacity Manage inventory levels and reduce excess and obsolete materials through proper MRP execution. Generate and analyze Epicor reports related to on-time delivery, job performance, and inventory turns. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality assurance, and logistics to streamline operations Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to review production plans, resolve issues, and adjust priorities as necessary Utilize ERP systems to track inventory, production progress, and resource utilization Key Performance Indicators On-time delivery performance Schedule adherence Inventory turns MRP exception management Production order accuracy Required and Preferred Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of experience in manufacturing planning or production management Proficient in ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders Preferred: Experience in lean manufacturing principles and practices Knowledge of production scheduling tools and techniques Familiarity with quality control processes and continuous improvement methodologies Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies Proficient in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to manage production and inventory data Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain logistics Experience with data analysis tools and techniques to drive decision-making Soft Skills and Cultural Fit Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing conditions Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and achieving common goals Passionate about process improvement and operational excellence
