We offer responsibility from day one, rapid growth, mentorship, and a clear development path with competitive compensation.Job DescriptionThe International Buyer is strategically responsible for identifying, negotiating, and procuring goods and services globally. Their primary objective is to ensure the timely supply of high-quality materials at the most competitive cost, always guaranteeing compliance with international trade regulations and corporate policies. We are looking for a professional with high ethical standards, analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in multicultural and collaborative environments.Main ResponsibilitiesSupplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and develop international supply sources that meet quality, cost, and delivery time standards.Strategic Negotiation: Lead the negotiation of contracts, trade terms, and prices with international suppliers to maximize value for the organization.Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing research on global supply trends, price fluctuations, and new sourcing opportunities.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all operations comply with international trade laws, import/export regulations, and Incoterms.Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate closely with logistics, finance, quality, and production to ensure efficient communication and accurate purchasing processes.Performance Monitoring: Monitor supplier metrics (KPIs) and resolve critical issues related to quality or service.Administration and Control: Maintain detailed records of purchases and prices in the company's ERP systems.Experience and RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in International Business, Foreign Trade and Customs, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years performing international purchasing or global sourcing functions.Languages: Advanced proficiency in English (essential for negotiations).Technical Skills:Solid knowledge of Incoterms and international logistics.Proficiency in ERP software and purchasing management tools.In-depth understanding of global trade regulations.Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation skills, analytical thinking, assertive communication, and a sense of urgency.Availability: Ability to travel internationally occasionally (audits, trade shows, or supplier visits).
