The EHS Engineer position is responsible for leadership and development of the Environmental, Health, and Safety programs in Quasar Medical Tecate ensuring all plans, procedures, training, work practices and controls are effectively implemented and in compliance with applicable regulations. Responsibilities Conduct regular EHS internal audits and identify EHS deficiencies and improvement opportunities. Develop corrective actions and prepare project charters as needed to provide EHS solutions. Establish a close liaison with the external federal, state, and local EHS regulatory compliance and participate in external audits and responses as required. Responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining the processes, records, and documentation necessary for the environmental management system following Mexican EHS regulation. Lead or coordinate EHS projects execution and follow‑up. Establish a program to track EHS related activities and develop and present status reports to managerial staff. Responsible for the development and deployment of EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines; assuring facility operation follows regulatory requirements. Develop, coordinate, and conduct training sessions on EHS topics. Support equipment procurement and installation activities (IQs) by providing EHS risk analysis. Participate in budget preparation and tracking of expenses related to EHS. Manage EHS documentation regarding projects, audits, and certifications. Review accidents and incidents, coordinate root cause analysis investigations and required reporting and manage corrective actions. Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in EHS responsibilities Experience in leading cross‑functional teams and projects; performing safety internal audits; writing investigation reports and project plans; industrial equipment/fire control systems. Manufacturing/Process/Facilities engineering related work experience. Related experience within international standards OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 13485/9001, FDA and European quality systems requirements (QSR, MDD), and risk management (ISO 14971, DFMEA and PFMEA) is desired. #J-18808-Ljbffr
