OverviewWe are seeking aCNC Programmerwith strongMastercamexperience to support the production ofcomposite and tooling parts. This is ahands-on, production-driven rolefocused on creating accurate, efficient, and reliable toolpaths for3-axis CNC machines. The ideal candidate can take existing geometry and turn it intoclean, machine-ready programswith minimal supervision. Accuracy, consistency, and efficiency are critical. This role works closely with machine operators to ensure successful execution on the shop floor. Key Responsibilities Program CNC toolpaths usingMastercam (3-axis machining) Work with2D and 3D geometryto develop effective machining strategies Create and optimize toolpaths, including: 2D pocketing and contouring 3D roughing Scallop finishing Select and apply appropriatespeeds and feedsfor common tooling and materials Review, clean up, and prepareCAD filesprior to programming Outputmachine-ready codeand verify toolpaths before production Communicate with CNC machine operators to ensure proper execution and resolve issues as needed Troubleshoot and adjust programs to maintain production quality and efficiency Required Skills & Qualifications Proven hands-on experience withMastercam(3-axis programming) Strong understanding of: 2D and 3D toolpath strategies Feeds, speeds, and cutting parameters Ability to work confidently inimperial units (inches) Experience preparing and validating files for CNC machining Basic English communication skillssufficient for training, collaboration, and production coordination Preferred (Nice to Have) Experienceoperating CNC machines Familiarity withRhinoceros 3Dfor minor file edits and geometry preparation Experience withVCarve(training can be provided if needed) BasicCAD or 3D modelingexperience Work Style & Expectations Stronglyproduction-focusedwith repeatable, reliable workflows Able to receive files and generate toolpaths withminimal back-and-forth Highlydetail-oriented, consistent, and organized Comfortable troubleshooting issues and making adjustments independently Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Training & Onboarding Initial onboarding and guidance will be provided VCarveand internal processes can be trained Astrong Mastercam foundation is required from day one
