Our products power critical applications across communications, data centers, and industries including aerospace, defense, automotive, and industrial.Operations Director, High-Speed IO Cable Business Unit Amphenol is hiring a hands-on, strategic Operations Director to lead performance across its High-Speed IO Cable Business Unit.This role oversees manufacturing, production planning, quality, and logistics across a multi-site footprint inMexicali, Mexico and Connecticut, USA. The Mexicali campus includes multiple Amphenol operating units, and this leader will play a key role in driving alignment, efficiency, and performance across cable and wire assembly operations.This is a high-impact opportunity to lead at scale, build synergies across sites, and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities Drive and execute operational strategy aligned with business and customer needs Own KPIs across productivity, cost, quality, and delivery Lead and develop Plant Managers and cross-functional teams Ensure the right structure, talent, and resources are in place to meet performance goals Deliver consistent results across quality, cost, and on-time delivery metrics Standardize and enforce operating procedures across sites Plan and deploy capital, workforce, and infrastructure to support growth Partner with senior leadership and customers, translating data into clear, actionable insightsThe Candidate Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field 7+ years of senior operations leadership experience in manufacturing Experience leading multi-site operations, ideally in cable, interconnect, or related industriesCore strengths: Operational strategy (capacity planning, footprint optimization, NPI, transfers) Hands-on, results-driven leadership style Ability to execute in fast-paced, high-growth environments Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills Effective communicator with customer-facing experienceAdditional: Willing to travel ~30% Ability to be based in Mexicali, Mexico English and Spanish fluency required
