Job Title: Process EngineerLocation: Salinas Hofusan Industrial Park, Nuevo León, Mexico (On-site) Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on and results-driven Process Engineer to support manufacturing operations at our Hofusan facility. This role will focus on process optimization, productivity improvement, new product launches, and production efficiency. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to build stable and scalable manufacturing processes in a fast-growing environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, review, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and output Analyze production data and identify root causes of process issues Support new product introduction (NPI) and ensure smooth production launches Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, PFMEA, control plans, and process documentation Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on scrap reduction, cycle time, and labor efficiency Evaluate tooling, fixtures, and equipment needs to support operations Monitor process capability and implement corrective and preventive actions Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field Professional Experience 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment Experience supporting production lines, process validation, and equipment improvements Automotive or Tier 1 / Tier 2 supplier experience preferred Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment English communication skills required Preferred Qualifications Experience in heat exchanger, metal fabrication, or automotive components manufacturing Experience in start-up plant or expansion projects preferred
