We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated colleague to join our Accounting team asAccounting Supervisor.Essencial Job Requirements4-7 years of experience in accounting and 2 years experience leading a team Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a must Advanced English proficiency Advanced financial analysis Advanced Excel Strong SAP proficiency Previous experience in agribusiness companies Soft skills: outgoing attitude, customer focus, sales-oriented mindset, attention to detail, leadership, and strategic thinking Strong numerical skills Proactive mindset Decision-making skills Excellent communication skillsJob Purpose You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of the company’s financial information by overseeing critical processes such as inventories, mark-to-market valuations, provisions, fixed assets, leasing, reconciliations, and internal audit controls, in accordance with US GAAP and MEX GAAP standards, using SAP as the primary management tool.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Compliance & Reporting:Ensure adherence to US GAAP and MEX GAAP standards, maintaining accurate financial records and reliable reporting. Oversee key processes such as period-end close, consolidations, and critical balance sheet reconciliations.Internal Controls & Audit Coordination:Monitor and strengthen the internal control environment through the execution of internal audit controls. Coordinate internal, external, and corporate audits, ensuring timely responses and proper documentation.Valuation & Provisions Management:Oversee mark-to-market (MTM) valuation processes for inventories and commercial contracts. Manage key provisions related to freight, storage, and third-party services.Intercompany & Reporting Management:Administer intercompany reconciliations and resolve outstanding items, ensuring accurate and consistent reporting for corporate, commercial, and operational stakeholders.Team Supervision & Continuous Improvement:Drive team performance through ongoing development, training, and continuous improvement initiatives, promoting effective communication and ensuring high-quality, reliable information flow across the organization.Perform other activities inherent to the departmentBenefits You will work in a diverse team and gain valuable experience within an international organization that fosters the development of your skills and expertise.
