Job PurposeLead the Maintenance and Facilities function to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of equipment, production processes, and plant infrastructure. This role is responsible for building a strong and sustainable technical team, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.Key Responsibilities 1. Operations & Reliability - Ensure availability and performance of production equipment. - Implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies. - Reduce failures and unplanned downtime through root cause analysis. - Ensure effective use of the CMMS system.2. Transfers, Start-Up & Projects - Support installation, start-up, and validation of equipment and processes. - Participate in production line transfers (domestic and international). - Manage equipment modifications, plant expansions, and shutdown projects.3. Team Leadership - Lead maintenance supervisors and engineers. - Develop and strengthen the technical team (training and performance). - Ensure the organization has the capability to support operational growth.4. Resource Management (MRO & Budget) - Manage the annual maintenance budget. - Control spare parts (MRO) inventory and procurement processes. - Identify cost reduction opportunities.5. Safety, Environmental & Compliance - Ensure compliance with safety, environmental regulations, and waste management. - Promote a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance. - Represent the plant before authorities when required.6. Cross-Functional Coordination - Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and suppliers. - Ensure effective communication to support operations.Requirements Education: bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)Experience: - 5–8 years in maintenance or engineering within manufacturing environments - Proven leadership experience - Experience managing large teams (50–100+ employees) - Experience in start-up, projects, or production transfersRequired Technical Skills: -Machine shop and/or tool room (milling, lathing, grinding, drilling, CNC) -Automation and Control (PLCs, industrial robots, vision systems, servo drives and motion control) - Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems - CMMS and/or SAPPreferred Technical Skills: -Fluid Handling Technologies (pressured gases like ammonia and/or nitrogen) -Industrial furnace heat treatments -High vacuum technologiesLanguages: - Advanced EnglishAdditional: - Valid passport and U.S. visa - Availability to travel and support off-hours (domestic and international)Key Competencies - Leadership and decision-making - Results-oriented mindset - Analytical thinking - Planning and execution - Effective communication - Strong focus on safety and qualitySuccess Measures - High equipment availability - Successful start-up of lines and projects - Strong technical team - Maintenance cost control - Compliance with safety and regulations
