The opportunity We are seeking a driven and technically sharp Electrical Designer to join our MEP team in Hermosillo. You will contribute to real projects from day one — developing construction documents, coordinating with engineers and other disciplines, and growing toward a senior or project engineer role. This position offers direct exposure to U.S. project standards and international best practices, putting your career on an accelerated track. What you will do Design power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and low-voltage infrastructure for MEP projects across various scales and sectors Develop full construction document packages in Revit MEP and AutoCAD, including single-line diagrams, panel schedules, riser diagrams, and electrical floor plans Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, short-circuit calculations, and photometric studies Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams throughout design and construction phases Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, NOM, and applicable local codes for projects in Mexico and the United States Participate in design reviews, client coordination calls, and construction administration (RFIs, submittals, site visits) Collaborate actively with engineers at the U.S. headquarters and contribute to cross-border project delivery What we are looking for Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a closely related field 3–8 years of experience in electrical design within an MEP consulting or engineering firm Proficiency in Revit MEP and/or AutoCAD; experience with BIM coordination is a plus knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and/or NOM electrical standards Strong understanding of panel schedules, one-line diagrams, conduit routing, and equipment coordination Ability to manage multiple deadlines and communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams Bilingual (Spanish / English) — strong English reading and writing skills required for U.S. project coordination
