Project Description: The solution is a suite of modular applications that together form a robust and scalable Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) designed for real-time management of electrical distribution networks. ADMS addresses the real-time network management requirements of both large and small electric distribution utilities by delivering a comprehensive set of high-quality network operation functions. It is engineered for seamless integration with systems such as Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA).Additionally, ADMS offers programmatic interfaces to facilitate integration with third-party products and enterprise applications, as well as support read-only access to ADMS data. The role centers on system monitoring, incident intake, initial troubleshooting, and escalation, ensuring continuous availability of mission-critical ADMS functions vital for real-time grid operations.Responsibilities: Advanced Incident Resolution Handle escalated incidents from L1 requiring in-depth investigation. Analyze ADMS functional failures, performance issues, and data inconsistencies. Perform root-cause analysis across ADMS applications and infrastructure layers. Restore system functionality and implement corrective and preventive actions. GE Vernova ADMS Functional Expertise Support core ADMS modules, including: SCADA (real-time monitoring & control) Outage Management System (OMS) Distribution Management System (DMS) Network modeling and topology processing FLISR (Fault Location, Isolation & Service Restoration) Analyze ADMS logs, traces, alarms, and historical data. Support configuration, tuning, and validation of ADMS functions. Integration & Technical Support Diagnose issues related to integrations with: GIS, AMI / smart meters RTUs, IEDs, and field devices External enterprise systems (EMS, market systems, CIM interfaces) Support databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL), middleware, and messaging components. Collaborate with infrastructure teams on OS, network, and virtualization-related issues. Lead problem management activities and post-incident reviews. Support ADMS patches, upgrades, and hotfix deployments. Validate fixes in test or pre-production environments. Review and support changes to production environments. Act as technical authority during major incidents and grid events. Communicate directly with utility customers on technical findings and resolutions. Mentor L1 engineers and contribute to internal training. Support continuous improvement of support processes and documentation.Mandatory Skills Description: Strong hands-on experience with GE Vernova ADMS (GE GEV) or equivalent ADMS platforms. Advanced knowledge of Power distribution operations SCADA/OMS/DMS concepts Databases, scripting, and system diagnostics Experience with enterprise-scale, mission-critical systems. Ability to work during critical incidents and major outages.Nice-to-Have Skills Description: DevOps, C#, Network Monitoring Tools, Leadership mindset and excellent analytical skills.
