Job Description

Job Overview The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing the production schedule, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, cost, delivery, internal control, and ethical conduct, following the principles of Simpler, Faster, Stronger. Responsibilities Identify risks within the company’s business operations; develop and implement programs to mitigate, perform accident and incident investigations, and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Provide follow‑up to action plans from audits, self‑inspections, and accident/incident investigations. Support EHS management requirements on report writing, statistical analysis, and incident & accident trend studies. Communicate daily with OU and SU employees; flow clear expectations down to Team Leaders via work assignment reports and metrics boards. Manage pass‑downs between shifts to ensure the shop runs without undue interruptions. Ensure On Time Delivery meets or exceeds internal metrics. Deal with scheduling, capacity, and lead time issues quickly; communicate late or /"at risk/" jobs to customers at the earliest opportunity. Promote quality by setting the example for manufacturing; conform to and work to improve the quality management system. Problem solving and decision making: identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions. Growth and training: maintain a cross‑functional team via the cross‑training program; execute Team Leader and Team Member selections and provide tools and training for success. Execute initiatives to develop, implement, and improve the CI system, with all required documentation, tools, and metrics. Analyze key metrics related to the Balanced Scorecard; perform periodical reviews to evaluate results and recommend action plans to close operational gaps. Lead global diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies, programs, and initiatives that enhance the company’s DE&I presence across team member populations.
