The Opportunity We’re hiring AI Architects who define how AI is actually built and deployed inside modern engineering organizations. This is not a strategy-only role. You’ll design production-ready AI architectures, build proof-of-concepts that earn trust with technical stakeholders, and guide delivery teams across multiple client engagements. You’ll work with companies across fintech, healthcare, SaaS, and PE-backed portfolios, helping them move from experimentation to scalable, governed AI adoption. What You’ll Do - Define AI integration architectures tailored to real-world engineering environments - Assess client maturity (CI/CD, testing, AI readiness) and design practical adoption strategies - Architect agentic workflows, RAG systems, and AI-assisted delivery pipelines - Build proof-of-concepts that demonstrate measurable impact (accuracy, efficiency, cost) - Lead technical workshops during pre-sales to validate feasibility and scope - Provide hands-on technical oversight to engineering teams across active engagements - Establish prompt governance models, evaluation frameworks, and integration patterns - Contribute to internal reference architectures and reusable playbooks What We’re Looking For Experience - 10+ years in software engineering, architecture, or technical consulting - Proven experience delivering AI systems in production environments - Strong client-facing experience with enterprise organizations Core Expertise AI & LLM Systems - LLM integration patterns: RAG, tool use, function calling, agent orchestration - Prompt architecture, governance, and versioning at scale - Evaluation & observability frameworks (e.g., LangSmith, Braintrust, custom solutions) - Hallucination mitigation strategies and human-in-the-loop design - Strong judgment on when NOT to use AI Architecture & Engineering - Distributed systems and API design (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) - CI/CD pipelines and engineering performance metrics (DORA) - Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or similar) - Security, compliance, and data privacy in AI systems Client-Facing & Delivery - Pre-sales technical validation and workshop facilitation - Mentoring senior engineers and guiding technical decisions - Experience in regulated industries (fintech, healthcare, financial services) - Ability to operate across US and European markets What Sets You Apart - You think in trade-offs, not tools - You can whiteboard and defend architectures with senior stakeholders - You’ve built and shipped AI systems — not just studied them - You have strong opinions on prompt governance and evaluation frameworks - You’re equally comfortable presenting to a CTO and debugging a failing POC Why This Role Stands Out - Work across multiple high-impact AI engagements simultaneously - Shape how organizations adopt AI at scale - Combine architecture, hands-on delivery, and strategic influence - Be part of building a repeatable AI playbook across industries We Offer - Work your way — anywhere, anytime.
