The role Payroll Specialist Location: Guadalajara Are you interested in a regional role with international exposure? Are you looking for a temporary challenge where you can make an immediate impact? Would you like to deepen your experience in payroll management and labor relations across different LATAM countries? If your answer is yes, this opportunity is for you. We are seeking a Payroll Specialist (MX) to join our team. This position will play a key role in ensuring the accurate execution and control of payroll processes in Mexico, as well as coordinating with international vendors. You will be responsible for payroll validation, reconciliation, and analysis, ensuring legal compliance and accuracy in every payroll cycle. What a typical day looks like in this role: - Manage Mexico’s biweekly payroll (outsourced). - Coordinate monthly payroll with vendors for Trinidad & Tobago (7 HC) and Jamaica (5 HC). - Collect and validate payroll inputs (overtime, deductions, leaves of absence). - Manage IMSS and government platforms. - Review and validate termination settlements. - Perform payroll reconciliations, analyze variances, and monitor deviations. - Interact and negotiate with vendors. - Utilize HRIS systems (SAP, Workday, or similar). What we need to see from you Candidates who are recent graduates or in their final semesters of Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Economics, or Industrial Engineering will be considered, as well as those with technical education in Accounting or Administration. Skills - Experience in Mexico payroll. - Experience working with external vendors. - Advanced English (C1). - High attention to detail. - Strong analytical skills. - Experience with HRIS systems (SAP, Workday, etc.). - Global Collaboration: Ability to work in matrix structures and with remote teams (FSSC). - Analytical Thinking: Strong data analysis capabilities with a high focus on detail and accuracy.
