Industrial Engineer – New Projects & Business Position Purpose Support the industrialization of new projects and business opportunities across the region by defining manufacturing processes, layouts, and capacity requirements. This role ensures a smooth transition from product development to production while contributing to accurate and competitive RFQ processes within a dynamic manufacturing environment Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field - 2–5 years of experience in industrial engineering within manufacturing (automotive preferred) - Experience or exposure to New Product Introduction (NPI) or product launches - Exposure to RFQ processes or cost estimation is a plus - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment - Customer-focused mindset - English proficiency required Key Responsibilities - Support the industrialization of new programs (EV, Data Center, Data Cables) from concept to production - Define and optimize manufacturing processes, line layouts, and production capacity requirements - Develop process documentation including flow charts, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) - Provide detailed technical input for RFQs, including cycle times, equipment needs, and cost drivers - Support feasibility analysis for new projects and identify manufacturing constraints early in the process - Ensure effective transition from R&D to production (New Product Introduction – NPI) - Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Commercial) - Participate in design reviews to ensure manufacturability (DFM – Design for Manufacturing) - Identify risks during project development and support implementation of mitigation actions - Support procurement and validation of new equipment, tooling, and production lines - Contribute to reducing time-to-market through efficient planning and execution - Support product launches and ramp-up phases, ensuring production stability and efficiency - Monitor process performance and support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing) - Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements - Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards during project implementation - Support training of production teams during new product launches Key Competencies - Analytical thinking - Attention to detail - Strong communication skills - Teamwork and collaboration - Results-oriented mindset - Adaptability and sense of urgency
