The Sr. Extruder Engineer will provide technical support and guidance to process engineers and technicians to improve productivity, standardize operations, and resolve complex extrusion issues. This position requires rotation across production shifts, following the current four-shift structure operating 24/7 with 12-hour schedules. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and enhance extrusion processes to optimize production efficiency and performance. - Manage and coordinate technical projects, ensuring successful implementation and customer satisfaction. - Develop and maintain process documentation, including Technical Reviews (TR) with FMEA, control plans, tooling, equipment, and entitlement analysis. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment of project objectives. - Train IDL personnel in understanding and applying standard operating procedures. - Create, update, and validate machine recipes and process profiles. - Develop continuous improvement plans through product and technology upgrades, contributing directly to P&L performance and financial margin improvement. - Coordinate NPI (New Product Introduction) activities to ensure smooth launch of new products that meet quality, productivity, and efficiency requirements. - Spectra-strip site’s standardization practices.
