Job Description

Objective:The Financial Analyst (FP&A) will support the FP&A Manager in delivering high-quality financial analysis, insights, and reporting to drive business performance for a single business unit in Mexico. This role goes beyond standard reporting and requires strong analytical capabilities, business partnering skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.Main Responsibilities: · Support and actively contribute to the preparation and coordination of the annual budget and periodic forecasts · Perform detailed financial analysis, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities impacting business performance · Conduct in-depth variance analysis vs. budget and forecast, providing clear and actionable explanations to management · Monitor and analyze financial and operational KPIs, proactively highlighting trends and deviations · Support monthly closing by validating financial data and ensuring consistency between actuals and forecasts · Analyze revenue, cost structure, operating expenses, and Net Working Capital (NWC) with a strong business perspective · Perform profitability and margin analysis across products, channels, and customer segments · Prepare high-quality financial presentations for senior management with clear storytelling and insights · Support CAPEX planning, tracking, and ROI analysis · Collaborate closely with operations and commercial teams to understand business dynamics and support decision-making · rive improvements in reporting processes through automation and development of dashboards (Power BI, Power Query) · Ensure integrity, accuracy, and consistency of financial data across systems and reports · Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic initiatives.RequirementsBachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 6–8+ years of experience in FP&A, or corporate finance experience, ideally in retail and/or rental businesses. Experience in multinational companies and multi-entity environments. Strong understanding of financial modeling, business case development, and KPI-driven analysis. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with financial systems and BI tools (e.g., Hyperion, SAP, Power BI) preferred. Strong understanding of financial statements and business drivers. Fluent in English and Spanish is required. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. Previous experience in public accounting is desirable. At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational setting.
