We are looking for an Engineering Superintendent to drive our technical operations, lead high-performance teams, and spearhead technological innovation.In this role, you won't just manage projects—you will be the architect of our manufacturing efficiency and the mentor to our engineering talent.You will be responsible for strategizing, project management, and staff development, ensuring that our engineering department hits performance metrics while maintaining world-class quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Project Leadership: Coordinate and lead complex engineering projects from conception to final delivery.Operational Oversight: Supervise design, manufacturing, process control, and technical maintenance.Team Empowerment: Manage, coach, and support a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians.Financial Stewardship: Manage departmental budgets and implement aggressive cost-control strategies.Strategic Metrics: Implement and monitor technical performance KPIs and productivity improvements.Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics to ensure seamless operations.Technical Expertise & Requirement:We require a candidate with /"hands-on/" experience in a high-complexity metal-mechanical environment, specifically including:Advanced Manufacturing: Deep knowledge of CNC Machining (3, 4 & 5 axis), Lathes, and Milling.Fabrication & Forming: Expertise in Laser/Plasma Cutting, CNC Punching, Press Brakes, and hydraulic/mechanical presses.Joining Processes: Supervision of MIG, TIG, and Robotic Welding (knowledge of AWS standards).Finishing Processes: Proven experience managing Powder Coating (Electrostática) lines and surface treatment processes.Tooling & Metrology: Oversight of fixture design, dies, and precision measurement (CMM, Faro Arms).Methodologies: Strong command of Lean Manufacturing, VSM, SMED, and Six Sigma.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent experience).Experience: 5+ years in a leadership role within the metalworking industry.Language: Advanced English proficiency (must be able to lead technical and business discussions).Soft Skills: Proven decision-making abilities, effective communication, and a results-oriented mindset.Location: Guadalupe, NL
