Job Description

Job Title: HR Business Partner (HRBP) Location: Hofusan Industrial Park, Salinas Victoria, Nuevo León, Mexico (On-site) We are seeking a hands-on HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support plant operations in Mexico. This role will focus on Compensation & Benefits and Employee Relations, ensuring workforce stability, compliance with Mexican labor law, and alignment with business needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Compensation & Benefits - Manage employee compensation structure, including base salary, incentives, and allowances - Support annual salary review, market benchmarking, and compensation structure optimization - Coordinate payroll review and ensure compliance with Mexican Labor Law (LFT) and internal policies - Administer statutory benefits (IMSS, INFONAVIT, Aguinaldo, PTU) and company benefit programs - Analyze labor cost and provide insights to support budgeting and cost control Employee Relations - Manage employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, contracts, terminations) - Handle employee concerns, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution - Support employee engagement initiatives and workplace culture improvement - Work closely with labor unions (if applicable) and assist in collective agreement matters - Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends to drive improvements HR Business Partnering - Partner with production, quality, and supply chain teams to support workforce planning - Support headcount planning, hiring needs, and workforce optimization - Assist in performance management and talent development initiatives - Support HR strategies during plant expansion and organizational changes Compliance & HR Operations - Ensure HR practices comply with Mexican labor regulations and company standards - Optimize HR processes (onboarding, payroll, offboarding) to improve efficiency - Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field - 2–3 years of HR experience, with at least 1 year in Compensation & Benefits or Payroll - Experience in manufacturing or automotive environment preferred - Solid knowledge of Mexican Labor Law (LFT), payroll processes, and statutory benefits - Experience handling employee relations issues; union experience is a plus - Proficient in Excel and HR systems (SAP, Tress, or similar) Languages - Spanish: Native or fluent - English: Working proficiency (required for cross-border communication) Core Competencies - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced plant environment - Analytical mindset (labor cost, turnover, absenteeism) - Strong sense of compliance and risk control - Ability to balance employee relations with business objectives Why Join Us - Opportunity to support a growing manufacturing operation in Mexico - Exposure to cross-border HR practices - Dynamic environment with career growth potential
