An important global client is looking for "Cost Leader" based in Michoacán, Méx. General Objective: The Cost Analyst supports operational finance by ensuring accurate cost structures, transparent manufacturing performance reporting, and robust cost governance. The role partners closely with Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial teams to analyze cost drivers, maintain costing models, provide variance analysis, and strengthen decision-making through reliable financial insights. Requierements: - Bachelor’s degree in Accountant or Similar - Fluent English level - At least 3-4 years of experience in Manufacturing Costs - Broad experience in Costs Analysis, Structure of Costs & Inventories - Food Industry or Manufacturing industry is preferable Responsibilities: 1. Design, maintain and update standard cost models, BOMs, and routing structures to ensure accurate product costing. 2. Interface between Operations and FP&A modeling activities. 3. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly variance analysis related to cost and inventory accounting. 4. Monitor and report key financial and operational KPIs. 5. Prepare financial analysis related to manufacturing costs, inventory and expense details for decision making support. 6. Ensure proper internal controls within costing, inventory valuation, and production accounting processes. 7. Collaborate with Operations to identify deviations and recommend corrective actions. 8. Responsible for all cost center absorption valuation and reporting, labor and overhead analysis. 9. Assist with month-end closing activities related to inventory, production orders, and cost allocations. 10. Support annual forecasting and budgeting processes. 11. Lead and manage block stock and inventory obsolescence processes. 12. Lead all aspects of inventory valuation, physical inventories, and annual audit of material valuation.
